Jack McBannon - Making Of Tennessee at Cash Cabin
Play Video

After touring the US, Canada, Russia and all over Europe, Jack McBannon is releasing his brand new album TENNESSEE on May, 24th.

This journey of a record was recorded in Johnny Cash's legendary Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee with GRAMMY® awarded Producer John Carter Cash.

The son of Johnny Cash and June Carter picked the best musicians of the Nashville music scene and was able to capture Jack McBannon as he has never been heard before.

Before heading to Tennessee, Jack released his completely self-produced album "True Stories" - on which he recorded and played every single instrument - in early 2021 to international critical acclaim.

In 2022 Jack released the single "Down By That Bridge" which he recorded with Jeff Cornell in Seattle.

"Growing up intensely with the Grunge scene, this song really reflects all my feelings and memories of going through many hard paths in my life.

Having been able to record this track with my friend Jeff in a historic Seattle studio really means a lot to me. R.I.P. Jeff."

- Jack says about this very special song.

Tragically Jeff Cornell passed away just weeks after the release of the single.

Jack McBannon is a true artist who mixes Country, Americana, Blues, Grunge and Rock into a genre of his own.

Besides writing all of his songs himself, he also creates all of his artwork and cuts (and mostly films) all of his music videos and is a published photographer who released his first photography book "Through the lens of a traveler" in 2022.

Catch him on the road.

He'll be there.
